November...

Our Wahoo migration is in full swing in the blue water through December to January. Sailfish and Tuna work their way down the "Color Change", and  Pilchards (small baitfish) show  up in the shallows, where we cast net them and subsequently chum the blue water with them live. This live chumming attracts the game fish closer to the boat, where we have a better chance of presenting artificial lures  and flies to them. That's light tackle sport fishing at it's finest.

December...

January...

Blue Water fishing still producing Sails, Tuna, Wahoo, and Kingfish.Off shore reef and wrecks producing the much sought after but elusive Afican Pompano as well as Snapper, Grouper,  Amberjack and Giant Kingfish. Tarpon continue to amass in Key West Harbor, and will respond to Lures and Live Bait.

February...

Blue Water fishing still good.Tarpon start responding to chumming in the Harbor along with Permit, Cobia and Snapper. Sharks appear in the shallows and can be attracted and enticed to  take Lures and Flies readily.

March...

Springs replaces winter weather and the fishing season is coming into full swing! Tarpon, Permit and Cobia come close to shore. Sharks, sharks, sharks in the shallows. This is visual  fishing, Giant sharks rushing the boat in clear, shallow water, where we can catch them on fly. Even if you've never fly fished before! Very Exciting!

July...

Hot! hot! hot! Lots of species try to find a "comfort zone" in deeper water. Tarpon still good, Permit move out to gulf wrecks along with the Sharks.  Offshore fishing is good with many species seeking cooler water.

August, September, October...

Still Hot! Offshore on the Atlantic side of the Gulf of Mexico is the best bet. Fishing is still good, but everyone is waiting for the season to start  again.
